The STEM Camp Foundation’s grants program is designed to empower elementary school teachers in communities where STEM Camp operates by providing funding for innovative STEM projects in their classrooms. Open to certified teachers from Kindergarten to Grade 8, the program offers grants up to $500, enabling educators to purchase essential materials, tools, and resources to deliver hands-on, engaging STEM activities. By addressing the financial challenges schools face, the grants make it possible for teachers to bring concepts like coding, robotics, and 3D printing into their lessons, inspiring students to explore their curiosity and develop critical STEM skills. Applications are accepted online once a year, with funding decisions announced in February.

With a focus on supporting schools in communities where STEM Camp takes place, the program ensures that grant funding has a direct and meaningful impact on local educators and students. Applicants are welcome to re-apply each year, regardless of whether their application was previously successful or not. However, there is no guarantee that funding will be awarded for consecutive years. Past grant recipients have reported significant improvements in student engagement, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of STEM concepts. From coding tablets to robotics kits, these grants have enabled transformative projects, sparking a lifelong interest in STEM for students across eligible communities!
